Working for an rapidly expanding business in Stockport as part of a small team, you will be carrying out tyre fitting tasks, wheel alignment, accepting deliveries and ensuring the workshops and machinery are in a clean and safe working condition.

You will have a full understanding of the UK tyre laws and a technical understanding of tyres.

It is desirable that the successful candidate holds a full clean driving licence.

Prestige Wheels in Stockport, who specialise in alloy wheel refurbishment, are looking for an experienced powder coater.

You will be working alongside a number of other team members in a busy workshop/plant processing and completing over 200-wheel refurbishments per week.

You should be both reliable and punctual & able to work effectively and efficiently both on your own initiative or as part of our growing team.

Duties include:

• Inspecting the wheels both prior & throughout the whole refurbishment process.
• Preparation of wheels prior to paint. Including remove all the old finishes and paint.
• Cabinet blasting
• Colour changes powder coat & wet paint
• Apply new powder coat on wheels to the highest standard.
• Cure new powder coat on wheels
• Quality Control

You should have excellent attention to detail to help ensure a quality finish every time.

Salary: Competitive + Bonus

Hours: 5 ½ days, Mon-Sat (44 hours + Overtime)

Due to our continued success we’re looking for Mobile Wheel Refurbishment Technicians in the following areas: Stoke on Trent, Crewe, Stafford, Bolton, Preston & Sheffield with immediate start available. 

All our Mobile Technicians are fully employed with a competitive salary, plus bonus potential. We provide a van fuel card, equipment and full uniform with all work supplied directly via PDA.

Job Summary

• Customer focused person, who realises the importance of customer service.
• This is a mobile based position in the Stafford / Cheshire area (Stoke, Crewe preferred location).
• You will be required to carry out wheel refurbishment and wheel repair at both private addresses and trade customers across the Staffordshire areas.
• We supply you a fully equipped van (including a fuel card) to carry out the alloy wheel refurbishment work.
• The role is salaried with a commission on each wheel completed.
• Monday to Friday and every other Saturdays.
• Previous experience in the car or body repair industry is essential.
